(Once Upon a Time)

“Approach the throne my beloved” begins the poetic, sometimes erotic, sometimes violent text that searches for the disappeared frog without and within. Frogskin is a single-channel video derived from the installation Once Upon a Time. Lush visuals were created by scanning leafy materials and human skin. The book employs a snake binding structure and pull-out pages to reveal fairytale and science narratives. Disturbing and beautiful.
